ALEXANDRE DE PARIS SEOUL

Alexandre de Paris has opened its first salon in Seoul, South Korea, inside the highly select Lotte World Tower. The salon is in the great shopping mall “Avenue L”, where all the top French luxury goods firms such as Chanel, Dior and Hermès are found in Asia.

Luxury décor and unusual architecture

The Alexandre de Paris - Seoul salon is a Korean version of western codes of luxury and design: white stone walls, vaulted ceilings and large gilt mirrors are some of the details that inform the enchantment of this place. The Alexandre de Paris codes are found in the touches of gold, ivory and black. The design, the work of a South Korea ANSAN university professor, is a projection of the Korean view of French luxury, a world which Asians dream of. The styling stations have mirrors with baroque frames: the structure is like an art gallery ushering one into the Alexandre de Paris creative world of excellence.

SALON TEAM

The team comprises 22 people, in particular two hair designers, Yu Lee and Yun-Jung Kim, renowned experts in South Korea, and two makeup designers. Mr So the salon director takes regular trips to the Alexandre de Paris Academy with his hairdressers to learn and practise the brand’s special techniques as taught by the Alexandre instructors.
